With 27+ years in real estate and more than 300 buyers and sellers personally represented, I’ve learned to look beyond the immediate transaction.

My role is to evaluate the options, anticipate complications and identify the financial, contractual and practical tradeoffs before they become expensive surprises. Whether you’re selling, buying or deciding which path makes sense, I’ll help you make decisions that support your finances, your family and what comes next.

An Analytical Approach

Before real estate, I earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Marine Science from Penn State and a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from Duquesne University. As a field biologist in the Florida Keys, I conducted underwater research that required careful observation, evidence-based analysis and adapting when conditions changed.

That training still shapes how I work. I look beyond a home’s appearance or an appealing interest rate to evaluate pricing, property condition, financing, contract terms and long-term flexibility. My experience with San Diego real estate, VA financing and assumable mortgages helps me identify opportunities—and potential tradeoffs—that may not be obvious at first glance.

A Military-Family Perspective

I met my husband on a salsa dance floor before his career in the Navy Dental Corps took our family from Pennsylvania to Okinawa, San Diego, Pearl Harbor and Coronado. I understand firsthand how housing decisions intersect with military obligations, commute, schools, finances and family stability.

Growing our family through adoption and navigating our own EFMP journey deepened that perspective. The right home isn't simply one that checks the boxes. It needs to support the life your family actually lives—including access to care, continuity in education and room for changing needs.
